The FROOT wellness guide

Juice, explained.

What cold-pressed juice is good for, where it fits in a balanced diet, what's in each ingredient we press, and simple habits that help if you're working on your weight.

01

Why cold-pressed?

Most shop-bought juice is heated to make it last longer on the shelf. Heat can reduce some delicate nutrients, like vitamin C, and it changes the taste.

Cold-pressing works differently. We chop whole fruit and vegetables, then a hydraulic press squeezes the juice out slowly under pressure. Nothing is heated, nothing is added, and the bottle goes straight into the fridge. That's why FROOT tastes like the fruit it came from, and why it needs to stay chilled.

What you taste is the ingredient itself.

02

What juice does well

Most of us don't eat enough fruit and vegetables. A bottle of fresh juice is an easy way to add more of them to your day, especially leafy greens many people wouldn't eat on their own.

The upside

  • Adds fruit and vegetables to busy days
  • Naturally rich in vitamins like C and A (from beta-carotene), plus folate and potassium
  • Helps with hydration: cucumber and watermelon are mostly water
  • A far better swap for soft drinks and sweetened juices

Best for

  • Mornings when breakfast is rushed, alongside some protein
  • After a workout, with water
  • An afternoon pick-me-up instead of a soda
  • Kids who won't touch a vegetable (try Melon Rush)

03

What juice can't do

We want you to enjoy juice for what it is. Pressing removes most of the fibre from fruit and vegetables, and fibre is what keeps you full and slows down how quickly sugar reaches your blood. Even with no added sugar, fruit juice still contains the fruit's natural sugars.

So juice works best as part of a balanced diet, not in place of meals or whole fruit. Your liver and kidneys already do the "detox" work; no drink replaces them. Think of FROOT as a fresh, nutrient-rich addition to good food, water, sleep and movement.

Weight-loss tips

There's no single food or drink that melts weight away. What works is steady habits you can keep. If juice is part of your plan, these help it work for you rather than against you.

A note on healthThis guide is general information, not medical advice. If you're pregnant, managing diabetes or another condition, or taking medication, talk to your doctor before changing your diet. Kale and spinach are high in vitamin K, so check with your doctor if you take blood thinners such as warfarin.

How to enjoy FROOT

Keep bottles in the fridge and drink them within their best-before date. Shake well, because natural pulp settles. One bottle a day alongside your meals is plenty.

Juice packs

Make it a habit. Build a 7, 14, 21 or 30-bottle pack.

About FROOT

Juice that tastes like the fruit.

Cold-pressed in Accra by Oasis Street Organic Living.

FROOT began with a simple belief: juice should taste like the fruit it came from.

Too much of what's sold as juice is concentrate, water and sugar. We wanted something honest. Whole fruit and vegetables, pressed cold, bottled fresh and delivered chilled to your door.

Every blend starts with produce we choose by hand. We press it slowly, without heat, so the flavour and colour stay true. Nothing is added: no sugar, no water, no preservatives.

FROOT is a brand of Oasis Street Organic Living, founded in Accra by Danielle Daku-Mante.
